Rules for All Daleks « Thread Started on May 22, 2006, 8:42am »
The rules are plain and simple. Follow them and you will be welcomed here. Abuse them and you will be EXTERMINATED! (Be deleted from this community)
1. Do not fight with other Daleks (members) or suffer the consequences of banishment from Dalek World.
2. Post clearly and legibly for others to read, also use the spell checker if you're in doubt.
3. All Daleks are created equal, but please do not attempt to go against staff Daleks, as our word is law here.
4. DO NOT post extreme violence, pornographic, abusive or offensive material, as you may find yourself banned from DALEK WORLD forever and your account destroyed!
5. Please do not replicate yourself and spam posts/topics all over the forum. Doing so will lead to them being deleted, and warnings issued to offenders, which could result in a ban!
6. Any member Dalek who does find themselves banned should not re-open another account. Doing so will be a violation of the Dalek Code and breaking our Dalek Laws, and WILL result in a lifetime expulsion from this Dalek community!
7. When posting links to another site, if it happens to be your own site, then it will only be allowed if you have become an established member of Dalek World. Should the link be to another forum, and if the other forum link provides valid information concerning a topic posted on Dalek World, then it will allowed. Removal of links to other forums will be entirely at the discretion of senior Dalek Staff members, and is not negotiable, so members should please accept this when they post any links! It is not acceptable to join here and advertise your own forum, or web site, until you have become an active and established member of this community. This rule is for the protection of all and to prevent the spamming of sites!
8.DO NOT, under any circumstances hijack threads or posts done by other members by posting matter which has no bearing, and does not relate to the subject of that thread. This includes links to other sites which have nothing to do with the subject thread, changing the title of the thread/topic; and posting the exact same post on different boards and/or topics. Such actions will lead to an immediate ban and place your membership in danger of deletion.
9.Please don't post a reply using just a smiley ( ) or group of smilies, and do not reply using only 1 or 2 words. It is far better for all members to read a nice reply to their threads/posts, and it only polite and good etiquette to at least post a small sentence of 3 words or more.
10.With regard to those members who build Daleks, particularly full sized Daleks for exhibiting at charity events, please DO NOT post anything which may infringe or break the copyright laws which are owned by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the Terry Nation Estate, as they own all rights to the Daleks and associated Doctor Who material.
11.Most importantly, enjoy this Dalek dedicated forum and have fun with your posts/threads, as all members who join us here will belong to the superior race of beings known as "The Daleks."
Please keep within the Code of Conduct, and the Laws of Dalek World if you wish to remain here! Remember that Dalek World is your world, and was created for your pleasure and as a safe haven to visit
YOU WILL OBEY THE POWER OF THE DALEKS.

Dalek Civil War Just one more thing which is not really a rule, but could be viewed as rule 10; and I feel needs to be said.
If you join Dalek World and have insulted any member of my forum on another forum, do not think you will be welcomed here with open arms, unless you can leave your differences aside, as inter-dalek civil wars are not tolerated.
We do not want to sound elitist in any way, but we do want members to follow a certain code of conduct, as we do like to be treated as you yourselves would like to be. One thing I do promise, and that is no one will have their membership deleted without just cause; and then they will be given an explanation, although well behaved members never need to worry about bans or warnings!
I like to treat everyone with the respect they deserve, and keep this forum a friendly place to come into. Hostile aliens are most definitely NOT WELCOME HERE.
Having said this, I am not a tyrant or dictator; and I will always welcome useful comments from my much valued members. I have never knowingly acted without having the best interests of this forum at heart, and will continue to run this forum with a friendly and approachable attitude for the benefit of all Dalek and Doctor Who lovers

As from today, Dalek World's laws and rules of conduct have been amended to cover hijacking of posts, as this is considered to be a crime against this community, and something which is completely forbidden and will not be tolerated.

Dalek World rules have been amended to include any topics which might infringe on Dalek or Dr Who copyright laws. Will all members please observe the rules of this forum at all times, as failure to do so will result in either a warning, a ban from the forum, or the deletion of your account plus a lifetime ban from Dalek World.
