DALEK MEMBERS ONLY
Dalek World is growing slowly, but surely; and some of the senior staff do have other commitments or experience problems getting on the forum at times.
Myself and Genesis Dalek are based in the UK. Primacron is our only moderator over in the USA, so it would be good to have a 2nd moderator from any country outside the UK. This staff position does hold a certain amount of trust, so it is only open to Dalek World members who are loyal and 100% trustworthy
It is not difficult to do, but will require the member to come onto the forum at least twice a week and keep an eye on certain boards. Experience is not entirely necessary, as I will guide the member as to their duties; and they will only be able to modify those boards where their name is designated.
So if any member is interested in joining the staff Daleks, or if you've done this kind of thing before, then please contact me via a PM and I will gladly consider all applicants on their personal merit and loyalty to Dalek World

Attention all Daleks
Dalek World is still looking for another active member to join the staff. Preferably someone from outside the UK, such as Australia, Canada or the USA; but anyone who is interested and keen may apply. All those who do will be considered on their merits, and I will only offer the position to loyal members who are on the forum at least for a minimum of twice per week.
The job itself is not hard, neither does it entail a lot of extra work; and though it may be helpful if you have some prior knowledge on moderating, I mainly require somebody who is trustworthy and who will keep an eye on the place when other staff Daleks are not around.
So if anyone wishes to take on a bit of extra responsibility, then please PM me.

I am happy to announce that Dalek1989 has joined the staff team. He is based down under in Australia which now means that Dalek World has staff members based in the UK, USA and Australia. This also has the added advantage of having staff around when some of us may be in shut down mode (sleeping or rest periods), so there will always be a staff Dalek on hand to help out

To all dedicated and loyal members of Dalek World.
If you are a fairly regular visitor to this forum, and feel that you would like to help with its smooth running, then I still have a vacancy for one more moderator.
If you wish to apply and can offer just a small part of your time (about 3 hours per week), then please send me a PM or email.
The place is going through a quiet period at present, as there is no Dr Who on TV apart from repeats; and no Dalek stories around to keep the excitement alive for we happy band of fans. However it is still good to know that, at some point in the future, they will return. Of that much I am sure
A moderator's job is not hard, as it is more a case of keeping an eye on the place to ensure it is patrolled by a staff Dalek. So you won't be asked to do the hard stuff, as that is my job
