Yes, that is a great Davros. The CGI is fabulous too. I hope at some stage I can combine CGI modeling with greenscreen compositing so that using CGI Daleks isn't limiting to the locations they can be used in.

I have heard some pretty good Davros impersonators on this site. I can appreciate the voice talent that goes into them. I'm more, behind the camera than in front of it, although while I have been making my series of videos for YouTube I have had to do just about everything as I can't find any decent live actors.
I'm planning a Dalek story that might extend of a couple of episodes of my current YouTube videos. My latest was a sort of Dalek Music Video. The new story involves Daleks over a few different time periods. I have a voice morpher and Hog, the free ring modulator which I downloaded from the Internet. I did one episode where Davros was talking and got a passable Davros using my own voice, but if Davros needs to do more dialogue I think I have a problem. Also I would like to be able to do more convincing Dalek voices. My question is, - is it all, the voice talent, or is there something more that I can do to get a more convincing Dalek Voice.
Its a bit of both. A good ring mod sound makes it better, but its also finding the right tone as well.
Here is a little clip I did some tome ago of Davros.

I got the wav file. That sounds pretty good and I still put it through the modulator and it sounded even better. I'll practice that but I still think its the voice talent that creates the best Dalek (like the one I just heard)
I thought I did a passable Davros in the above video but I don't think I could manage his hysterical dialogue if something dramatic was to occur.

Christmas Dr Who « Result #7 on Dec 26, 2009, 10:53am »
So what did we make of the first outing of the Xmas special?
Episode 1, personally I was disappointed, it felt muddled and having the master fly around shooting lightning bolts like some Marvel Comic character is just not Dr Who in my book.
Hopefully the second part will be much better.
I'm looking forward to the next series with Steven Moffit at the reigns.

This is a sample - not my latest, because thats all music.
Unfortunately you may be right. While Davros is an excellent character, it's not necessary for him to appear in every Dalek story.
He was only good in Genesis....he should have stayed dead after that, because the post Genesis stories he was in were awful, and the Daleks got the short end of the stick, acting no better than the robots the Doc called them in the following story.

Fan-made Star Trek Remastered « Result #11 on Dec 24, 2009, 2:35pm »
We know how Star Trek: TOS was remastered by CBS, the old visual effects updated to to look better. And done in a way not to look like Lucas's jarring remasters back in the late 1990's.
This person did his own remastering of a classic episode, "The Doomsday Machine"

The problem here with snow is when it becomes impacted and freezes, as the roads are never gritted soon enough and often the gritting lorries get caught up in traffic jams.
I like snow, but hate ice as this disrupts all normal kinds of movement; and more people get broken bones from slipping on ice than from other kinds of falls or accidents
